A Journey with Ally In Me: The Ultimate Home, Mind, and Soul Cleansing Guide

In a world buzzing with distractions and a myriad of influences telling us what to do and how to be, let's collectively take a deep breath. I'm a mom to a beautiful little girl, a devoted partner, a business owner, a friend, and, above all, your Ally. In this space, let's navigate the chaos together and find moments of clarity, inspiration, and connection. Welcome to a sanctuary where authenticity and support reign. Here is your space to discover how to eliminate hard water stains, extend the lifespan of your towels, create your own all-purpose cleaner, achieve a wonderfully fragrant home using natural ingredients, delve into juicing basics, explore fantastic yoga recommendations, and so much more. Now, here are a couple of simple solutions to everyday problems that might prove useful to you if you just don't know where to start. 1. Make your bed. I know, I know. Making your bed may seem simple, but it sets a positive tone for the day. As Admiral William H. McRaven emphasized in his book "Make Your Bed," this small task instills discipline and a sense of accomplishment, creating a ripple effect of productivity throughout your day. So, start your mornings by making your bed – a small act that can lead to big improvements in your life.

2. Turn chores into a party! Whether you've got the blues, or just looking at that laundry pile makes you anxious, take a moment. Try to express gratitude for the space you have, messy moments included. Pair chores with something enjoyable. Could be a favorite album you have, sip your coffee, turn on your favorite podcast or audiobook, etc. Decide and assign your special treat for those moments when laundry or dishes make a comeback in your life. You've got this. 3. Closing shift. Embrace some bartender's wisdom for a blissful home. Apply the "closing the bar" philosophy – restock essentials, conquer the dishes, wipe down the stove, and throw out that trash. Take up those tasks you dislike waking up to, rest assured, your home will feel as inviting as your favorite bar, minus the mystery of who closed last night. Become the lead of your living space, creating a haven you'll love waking up to each morning.

4. Don't put it down, put it away. You know what I am talking about. The endless pile of mail, your coats hanging in limbo, and the containers of unwashed fruit. Choose a dedicated spot for each item, just like your sleep space is for you! Creating these spaces not only declutters your home but it brings order to the chaos. 5. The five minute rule. (See what I did there) Say you are exhausted and all you want is to sit down with your favorite drink or snack and binge watch your favorite series. Yet, you already have this pre-anticipated guilt (you may just be a mom if you resonate with me here). But, before we divulge, take 5 minutes to meditate, or reflect, journal, speak affirmations over your kids, pray, sit-ups, read something positive, the list continues. The point is, doing something to recenter yourself before feeling guilty for giving yourself the break you deserve. Can't do five? Give me one. Just a whole 60 seconds out of the 86,400 you have today. I promise you this will make a difference.

These are just a couple of ways that I have been able to implement a smoother transition day to day. Some may work, some may not, and thats okay. If ever you have any questions, feel free to inquire on any of our social platforms, or email!

I commend you for trying today, friend. You've got this!
