In our best efforts to keep order in the chaos, I’ve formulated a couple of ideas to help combat interruptions to your flow. Within the hustle and bustle of everyday life, things can quickly go from order to disarray. Almost in the blink of an eye! If you've had the wonderful experience of having children, you know exactly what I mean. Some tips may be more attainable for some than others, and just remember, that's okay! It’s necessary for moms to prioritize self-care, maintain a healthy balanced diet, and stay focused on their organizational goals.


1. Putting Mama First


Motherhood is a rewarding experience, but it can also be demanding. It’s okay to ask for help and delegate tasks, especially when it comes to maintaining a clean and organized home. Whether you enjoy a warm bubble bath, reading a book, or indulging in a favorite treat, carve out some moments to do things you love that bring you a sense of peace.


2. Nourishing Your Body with a Balanced Diet/Strategy


A healthy diet plays a crucial role in maintaining your energy levels and overall well-being as a mom. I believe in the power of nutritious meals that fuel your body and mind. For some great ideas on how to keep you and your family well-fed, I turn to Pinterest and TikTok videos for inspiration, and then I head to Aldi for the most affordable, quality ingredients! Try to include a variety of fruits, veggies, an array of grains, and lean proteins to ensure a balanced diet. I’ve found that picking a day to plan out how many meals I'll be making (including lazy days of eating leftovers) really helps. Then, I shop in my kitchen. Shopping in the kitchen? Yes! It’s essential to take a look at what you already have in your pantry/fridge inventory so that you're not overspending on unnecessary items. After that, it’s shopping time!

Quick Tip: If sticking to a schedule for making certain meals on specific days isn't doable, I'd suggest simply writing down at least four meals. That way, you know you'll have the ingredients to make those meals if the timing doesn’t work out as originally planned.


3. Staying Focused on Organizational Goals


Organization is key to managing the chaos that often comes with motherhood. Whether it’s decluttering your home or creating a weekly schedule, staying organized can help reduce stress and improve productivity. Here are three quick tips on how to start establishing the habit of becoming organized:


1. Declutter: Start by getting rid of items you no longer need or use.

2. Create Zones: Designate specific areas for different categories or activities.

3. Establish a Routine: Set aside regular time to tidy up and maintain your organized spaces.
